Marcy Kellar
Marcy is a User Experience Professional who has worked with SharePoint for over six years. She specializes in SharePoint branding, information architecture, interaction design, intranet design, and usability.
Marcy has created web and intranet experiences for Fortune 500 companies and startups. She lives in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana and is a Solution Architect at Perficient, a leading information technology consulting firm serving clients throughout North America.
Marcy is invested in making a positive difference in the day-to-day life of the SharePoint end user using proven process and design methods and creative solution strategy. She has over six years’ experience strategizing, designing and implementing both internal and public facing SharePoint sites. Marcy’s background includes work in web design, psychology and human behavior, project management, process improvement, and photography.

Marcy is co-author of Beginning SharePoint Designer 2010 (Wrox, October 2010). She is active in the SharePoint online community and a frequent speaker on topics related to SharePoint and Design.

Marcy is passionate about teaching others about design strategy and how to use SharePoint to be an effective user-centered solution that promotes. Marcy taught “Intro to User Centered Design” and “Usability Testing” as a New Media professor at the Art Institute of Indianapolis.

Photography
Marcy is a photograher and passionate about communicating emotion with a lens. She enjoys sharing her work with the world.
Art
Marcy started her career as an artist as a child. She won 3rd place in the Indianapolis 500 Art Festival as a 3rd grader (it was a watercolor painting of a frog).
